And I still have no idea how you guys get refunds. I'll never understand that.
Yeah. That's the thing. Being self-employed, I had NO withholdings all year long, which means I pay it all at once. Plus, the self-employment tax, and that leads to one psychologically hard check to write come April 15... sigh.

Ways to get a tax refund:
1. Pay crap-tons of taxes out of each paycheck.
2. Have an unemployed spouse.
Although, anonymous, if you are still planning on being a stay-at-home dad I might not recommend #2.
